    Easy flat walk with beautiful scenery, but not as much wildlife as I’d hoped.

    Iconic Port of Oakland. Lots of geese, great views of SF, shipping crates, and cranes.

    4.5 miles // < 2 hours // mostly exposed
    You can go all the way to Berkeley to extend your hike.

    WHAT? WHY? WHO?

    We moved to the Bay Area in early 2014. Upon researching new places to check out, it was becoming difficult to remember where we'd already been. This blog is to document that for us. Maybe it will be helpful to you, too. I'm obviously not a hardcore hiker or athlete, but an appreciator of nature and exploring.
